RESEARCH
Current Research
My current research interests continue to involve TRFT and are three-fold. First, to further establish the ability of TRFT to prevent/reverse Alzheimers cognitive impairment and associated biomarker/brain imaging changes through larger controlled Phase 2b/III clinical trials in AD subjects. Second, to perform controlled clinical trials with TRFT in normal aged humans to determine TRFTs ability to extend healthy longevity by: 1) decreasing/reversing markers of aging and inflammation in blood and brain, 2) maintaining/improving cognitive performance, and 3) slowing or stopping age-related changes observed in brain imaging (e.g., PET, MRI, fMRI scans). And third, to gain further evidence that the human brain functions as a quantum computer for memory and cognition via neuronal microtubules. Accomplishing these goals involves inter-disciplinary collaborations across molecular bioscience, cognitive neuroscience, brain imaging, biophysics, clinical science, neurology, and physiology.
