USF students are at the heart of Health Buddies - a Seniors in Service of Tampa Bay program pairing volunteers with seniors to reduce loneliness and hospitalization. A cornerstone of USF's Age Friendly University commitment, student buddies make regular calls over 12 weeks to boost well-being and connect clients to critical resources. They are life savers.
