Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Business and Digital Transformation

The MS Artificial Intelligence in Business and Digital Transformation major is offered remotely across the globe. It is designed for experienced professionals who want to lead, govern, and scale AI initiatives in their organizations. The major prepares graduates to lead the design of AI-enabled systems, evaluate AI technologies and vendors, manage organizational change, ensure security and governance, and make sound investment decisions across the AI lifecycle from pilot to enterprise scale.

This program is 100% online taught synchronously and asynchronously at convenient times for working professionals in the U.S., Europe, and Asia.

This is a STEM-designated degree. The curriculum integrates technology and data strategy with the managerial judgment needed to deploy AI responsibly. Students develop fluency in:

  • Generative AI, agentic AI, and adaptive AI systems
  • Enterprise AI architecture and platform evaluation
  • Data strategy, quality, and governance
  • AI risk, security, and responsible AI
  • Process redesign and AI-driven organizational change
  • Proposing, implementing, and evaluating GenAI projects
  • Executive communication and AI leadership

Graduates leave with a firm grasp of how to align AI strategy with business value, lead AI initiatives, and guide digital transformation programs across industries.

The online program is designed to accommodate busy work schedules and consists of ten courses.

  • Live online meetings with professors and peer students take place on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • This is an AASCB and SACSCOC accredited nationally recognized degree.
  • Students are taught by full-time faculty members of USF who are ranked nationally for research and are deeply engaged with industry.
