Allison Crume serves as Dean of Undergraduate Studies, Interim Dean of Students, and Associate Vice President for Student Success at the 51°µÍø. In these roles, she leads the coordination and delivery of a high-quality, student-centered undergraduate experience across all campuses.

Dr. Crume oversees a comprehensive portfolio of student success initiatives, including academic support, engagement, and developmental programs, while serving as a central advocate for student needs and success. She also provides leadership in promoting student accountability and upholding institutional standards, ensuring a supportive environment in which all students can thrive.

Prior to joining the 51°µÍø, Dr. Crume served in multiple administrative roles including Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Vice President for Student Affairs at Florida State University. She also worked for the Board of Governors, State University System of Florida in academic and student affairs. Dr. Crume started her career in education as a high school history teacher in Roberta, Georgia.

Dr. Crume completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration at Florida State University. Her additional degrees are a M.A.T. in Broad Field Social Science and a B.S. in History from Georgia College & State University. She serves as affiliate faculty in the 51°µÍø College of Education’s Higher Education and Student Affairs department. Her research interests include student success, women in higher education, accessibility, and campus governance.
