Resources

Homeless Resources

The resources below connect students with community organizations and local agencies providing assistance for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability. While Student Outreach & Support helps identify available resources and navigate support options, the university does not provide emergency housing or shelter services. Students experiencing a housing crisis are encouraged to review the resources and contact SOS for assistance.

Emergency Shelters

Emergency, short-term housing for individuals and families. These services may include hot meals, clothing and case management services. Access to emergency shelter and housing assistance is dependent on community resources and availability within the local county and surrounding area.

Transitional Housing

Supportive housing options available for a limited time period. Options may include free or low cost housing.

Sober Living

Housing for individuals that are recovering from substance abuse concerns. Sober living housing provides support and structure to those trying to remain sober and transition back into the community.

Housing, Case Management & Counseling

Assessment and case management services for homeless individuals needing additional support. These services may include wait lists for housing through Tampa Housing Authority, assistance applying for benefits and/or connecting to additional resources in the community.
